Obituary - Ellen M. Rose, MA, MFTI
It is with great sadness I announce that my loving wife of 21 years, Ellen M. Rose, passed away on August 16th, 2010 in Los Angeles, CA. Ellen passed peacefully surrounded by friends and family after a very short fight against pancreatic cancer. She is survived by my son, Max, I, and numerous close friends she called her “sisters”.
Ellen was known for her caring, compassion, courage, and laughter. Everyone who met her instantly fell in love with her. As a testament to this, her funeral was attended by over two hundred people including some who had only cared for her in her last month of life. Ellen worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She offered her big heart and listening ear to her clients in an effort to help them improve the quality of their lives.
Ellen had been a Caring Community volunteer at Temple Judea in Tarzana, CA. Caring Community helps to care for temple members during times of extraordinary need such as illness or a family member’s death. Donations in Ellen's memory may be made payable to, Temple Judea and should be noted for, “Ellen M. Rose Caring Community Fund”.
